Nah ini yg ogut suka....berbagai member punya pendapat masing2..... Saya juga setuju sama om admil bahwa setiap perusahaan punya sudut pandang berbeda dalam mengrelease product. Tapi kalo menurut pendapat saya pribadi yah....DW sudah terbukti tidak terlalu baik dalam mengambil keputusan dan juga perhitungan dalam mengrelease product2nya. Ini kita bicara di dalam context DW sebagai perusahaan yg mengrelease pesawat komersial dan buka military transporter.

Lihat saja.....Phoenix models, Aeroclassics, Gemini Jets, JC Wings rutin mengeluarkan produk2nya setiap bulan, tapi DW nggak tentu kapan ada new releasenya....dan kalaupun ada new release kadang mereka bisa terlambat sampai beberapa bulan. Kalo dilihat dari sisi kompetisi sesama pesaing bisnis....DW sudah kalah duluan, plus produk DW yg kualitasnya dibawah produk2 yg saya mentioned diatas.

Di awal tahun 2000.....DW adalah pemain yg sangat kuat, merekapun salah satu pembuat 400 scale pertama, tetapi di tahun 2005-2006 sepertinya DW kehilangan semangat dengan produk2 barunya....salah satu korbannya adalah distributor mereka di Indonesia. Collector COrner gulung tikar dikarenakan tidak konsistennya produk2 DW (kadang ada new release dan kadang tidak ada sama sekali sampai beberapa bulan).....jadi kalo menurut saya pribadi Marketing strategy DW memang kurang baik dibandingkan dengan perusahaan2 lainnya yg bergelut di dunia diecast.

Again this is my personal opinion. Ada teman2 yg mau menambahkan?

Pas di lyat2 yg air asia utk jakarta ga ada icon buildingnya ya ..ga spt kota2 lain...

Hehe... DW emang unpredict.. walo utk 744 nya slalu byk yg rindu..tapi menghadapi 748 PH yg pake antena segala urusannya makin seru...

Kalo sya mencintai DW utk urusan SPACE dan Military tentunya..

perusahan apapun yg memproduksi diecast spt Dragon Wings, Phoenix models, Aeroclassics, Gemini Jets& JC Wings..saya hanya membeli diecast dng detail bentuk,detail warna, detail livery, detail tulisan yang sangat mendekati riilnya ( Aslinya).

Dragon Wings are junk. Plastic wings and plastic wings. Everybody else already make out of metal. I hate DW. They are junks. I won't take them even they gave it to me. yeakkkkkk. Dragon Wings are worst than craps. Sorry, guys that is my firm believe.

i simply just loved airplane diecast ....... except for c&c products ....... slurrrrppppp

I love diecast too but not from Dragon Wings. My favorite diecast now AC, JC and Herpa are the best diecast in the market. My AC and BigBirds are out number Gemini jets too already. I don't mean to be a perfection but once you spend the money and they are about the same price, don't you think we should get the best diecast in the market? Why buy junky Dragon Wings. The ONLY DW good for are their Warbirds. I have few of them but GJ fighter also are getting better. I just received my F-16 United States Air Force "Thunderbirds", they are awesome fighter planes from GJACES.

Actually I'm grateful om kualabear stop buying Dragon and Phoenix......so that way less competition out there.... As for myself.....I'm not anti DW or PH, but I don't wanna spend my bucks for products such as C&C. But then again that's is my personal choice, and for om kualabear he has his preference also.

Honestly my preference shifted few years back. At this moment I like AC, PH, GJ, DW, and some JC and Herpa. To me plastic wings is quite acceptable. Moulding, finishing color, landing gear, and specially the size of the wheels are very important criteria.

Again and again this is my personal preference. Different people has different preference. For example: I loved wines, to me wine should be treated 'the right way'. At home I refused to drink wine from a regular drinking glass. I only drink my wine from Riedel glass and I always decant my wine appropriately before drinking it plus the wine temperature should be 18-19 degree celsius. I treat coffee same thing with my wine. I refused to drink 'bad supermarket brand coffee'. To me pure Indonesian coffee beans with the right roasting are the best coffee out there. Espresso should be 20-21 seconds for one shot.

Some people may think I'm crazy.....but that's human. Each human has different characters and preference, so if Om kualabear thinks DW or PH are junks that's his preference and other a/d/f members no need to be influence by his statement.

Hopefully my statement would clarify to all a/d/f members.

its ok om Kuala.... , the more opinion makes the forum merrier, i guess you ve your own reasons and some other have their own too for liking DW, thats why sometimes people like white, black, red, yellow and brown for their own preference, but this things makes our life colorful as long as all done in peace and harmony. after all we re all bros here.... pizzzzz

maybe one day we could make a comparison thread of one type of aircraft from all manufacturer and everybody is free to point out the pro and con, so we can explain why we didnt like it or why we like it ? and afterward have a drink or two ?

I would like to sincerely apology from the bottom of my heart to every one in the a/d/f family member if I have demean or offended anyone. I was just expressing my views. I honestly said that I started collecting with Herpa & Dragon Wings as a matter of fact I still have few Dragon Wings in my collection that I won't get rid off. Again, please, forgive me what I had expressed that offended or upset any one. My intention was not to demean or offend or insult anyone. Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for the clarification om kualabear. Like I said before.....everybody has their preference when comes to collecting criteria. Maybe almost all members agree that Aeroclassics are very good product, but to some people even liveries becoming a preference. Let's just say I loved Luthansa so much...but to some people LH may not be their 1st choice.

Well...let's just close this chapter and moved on. I just got an e-mail from our good friend Raymond.....that JC Wings will be releasing Virgin Australia ATR 72.......

I think one of mistake DW printed as NEW DHELI on fuselage, suppose to be NEW DELHI.
