SIA's low cost long haul subsidiary,Scoot has revealed its first fully painted aircraft. The ex-SIA Boeing 777-200 (derated -200ER) emerged out of the SIA Engineering maintenance hangar recently bearing the new Scoot livery.

The aircraft is 9V-OTA, previously 9V-SQA of Singapore Airlines. The aircraft was delivered on 5th May 1997 to original customer SIA.
Scoot's first route, to Sydney, from Singapore begins on 6th June. This will be followed by Gold Coast on 12th June, Bangkok on 5th July and Tianjin on 23rd August.
