PostSubject: Padma hotel restaurant   Padma hotel restaurant EmptyThu Sep 17, 2009 5:48 pm

New resto in Bandung:

Padma hotel....ex Malya hotel....ex the famous 'Chedi' hotel:

The Restaurant:

Menu: Northern Italian cuisine
Executive Chef: Denis Galic (He's from Milan, Italy)
Almost 15 years working experience in Italy, and Bali

Food: 7 (maybe because they're not ready2.....they're still soft opening)
Ambience: 6 (harusnya yg ini bisa jadi 8-9...tapi karena renovasi hotel belum selesai....jadi masih debu dan pekerja maish banyak yg lalu lalang)

Today's lunch: 3 kinds of Pasta (Penne w/ mushrooms. Spicy shrimp fettucinne, and Bolognese Lasagna), Pizza with mushrooms, and Minnestrone soup (northern italian style)

Again....mungkin karena kitchen belum ready2 banget...jadi penilaian saya 7 mungkin agak2 under rated.....tapi yg pasti Lasagna bolognesenya enak banget. Presentasi excellent banget. Semua pasta homemade except for penne and spaghetti.

Dessert: THe famous Chedi baked cheese cake with caramel sauce......this one is defenetely 8.....so far I'm quite happy, and defenetely willing to come back and give it a try again. Especially after Denis promised to cook me his famous risotto......hehehehe......

Mudah2an membantu buat temen2 semua.

Today....kita nyempetin lagi makan di Padma. Kali ini....kualitas makanan bener2 turun banget. Ambience dan service masih TOP banget. I don't get it.....why Bandung can't produce any decent western restaurant.......it's really sad.

yepp om... i'm quite surprised from your news before..... ga taw dah dari dulu tuh penyakidnya resto di bandung tuh...

pertama kali kita amazed... kedua mulai agak kacau... ketiga... rusakkkkk..... Mad Mad Mad i don't get it.. mereka ga ada standarisasi kualitas gitu yah..???

Kaya "tony Roma's" and dulu tuh ada "Chicago ribs" mereka juga ga pernah balek rasanya... berubah2x.... mungkin orang bandung ga accustomed to eat western food....

we prefer the locals than the western... yah doakan aja bisa kembali lagi ke kualitas aslinya.....
